Woot Math Adaptive Practice is a proven approach to helping students master fractions and decimals. Hands-on manipulatives build conceptual understanding.

CHAMPS is a positive approach to classroom management that goes hand-in-hand with our PBS program. CHAMPS is an acronym that stands for Conversation, Help, Activity, Movement, Participation, and Success. Teachers use CHAMPS to teach their students the expected behaviors for all activities and transitions throughout the school day. When students meet the CHAMPS expectations, they will be successful. This approach to classroom management will increase student on-task behavior and establish respectful and civil interactions within the classroom and school-wide.

About Our School
Cleveland Court Elementary School was built in 1927 to serve area children of the Cleveland Heights subdivision. Our country, however, was in an economic depression at this time. The school opened for one semester, but due to low enrollment the school closed and was subsequently used as a Works Project Administration (WPA) facility. Later, it was used to build, assemble, and paint Patrol Torpedo (PT) boats during World War II. Finally, in 1947 Cleveland Court opened as a school for neighborhood children. Since 1947, Cleveland Court has had a reputation for high quality education and has grown and expanded to meet the needs of all the children it serves.
The MyPolkSchools Parent Portal allows parents to check current grades, obtain immunization status, learn if their child had any recorded discipline or attendance issues throughout the day, check their child’s current lunch account balance, and even see what their child purchased in the lunchroom Click HERE to learn more.
Positive Behavior Support
Schoolwide Expectations: Cougars Respect Everyone’s Rights
Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is a proactive approach to providing the behavioral supports and social atmosphere needed for all students at CCE to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. At CCE, students have the opportunity to earn 3 points a day for following the school expectations. They can earn one point in the morning, one point at specials, and one point in the afternoon. At the end of the month, if they have earned 90% of the points for the month, they will be allowed to participate in the PBS reward. Students will have a PBS recording form in the front of their agenda to keep track of earned points.
